    Love it. We live on an escarpment with a view of the sea about seven kilometres away. There was little clarity with the binoculars and they were also heavy. The scope on it’s tripod is easy to manipulate and gives great detail. We now get great pleasure from watching the boating and wildlife antics in the area

    I purchased this scope to replace one of a different brand that I had to return as unsatisfactory. This one is very good; simple to use and fast focusing to a good clear picture. Like many middle of the road scopes the picture clarity falls off quite badly as the magnification is increased. I found up to about x30 satisfactory but after that, despite refocusing, a clear picture is difficult to establish. My only other observation is that it took three attempts to source a satisfactory tripod/mount combination that provides sufficient stability for steady viewing. I would recommend careful research and pricing because the scope is not usable without a good steady tripod/mount

    I live in an apartment with a view of the sea and enjoy ship-spotting. This telescope has proved ideal for viewing ships entering and leaving harbour and while at anchor. You can zoom in and identify very close details, the image is sharp and clear. Although not recommended for this it has been good for stargazing, too, with some very clear views of the moon and major planets (including Jupiter’s moons). I bought the recommended tripod and they make a very good combination. Delivered three days earlier than estimated, too. Great service.

    The Scope suits this situation well and we are able to spot the boats coming in and out over the Bar as well as see quite clearly the larger ships out at sea. All in all we would recommend this product.
